Here’s a quick video on how to add a user to your Google Analytics 4 account.
- Once you go to analytics.google.com, select your account from the dropdown list of any other accounts that you may manage.
- On the left-hand side, you’ll see a cog or gear icon. Click that. Next, you need to go to. Property access management.
- If you want a higher level of access, you would use account access management. But if this person is a web designer or SEO person, then property access management is a high enough level.
- Click that and you’ll see your own name in this space as the administrator.Click the big blue circle to add a user. Click Add users.
- Enter the email address of the person you want to add – it works well if this is a Gmail address. Google plays nicely with other Google products.
- Now, in this instance, I want to make the person an administrator. When you do this, they can do everything that they need to do with the property. They won’t have to ask you for access again and again and again, which can be annoying. So let’s put in the email address that we want to invite.
- Once you’ve done that, simply click add.
This will send an invite to them for them to accept, and then they can manage the account. Hope that was nice and simple?
